About Bayshore 

Sidewalk about four and a half miles long with beautiful waterfront estates on the other side of the boulevard. Bayshore Boulevard also intersects with Howard Avenue which leads into Hyde Park, known for upscale restaurants and bars for those who are seeking nightlife entertainment. It is also the central location for the annual Gasparilla parade, in which pirate boat floats make their way down the street for a parade that attracts people from all over the country. 

Bayshore Beautiful 

The waterfront neighborhood of Bayshore Beautiful is located from Bayshore Boulevard West to Himes Ave, and Gandy Boulevard North to El Prado Boulevard. Bayshore Boulevard’s sidewalk is famous for being reported as the longest continuous sidewalk in the world and is located right along Tampa Bay, perfect for running or walking while enjoying a breathtaking view. The homes in this area can range anywhere from $200,000 to over $1 million, and are older homes. Bayshore is known for extraordinary architecture of the homes that line the streets in the area, which emphasizes the stately and historic reputation. 

Ballast Point 

Ballast Point encompasses the area just North of MacDill Air Force Base on the west side of Tampa. The neighborhood includes the area between MacDill Air Force Base to Gandy Boulevard, and East from MacDill Avenue all the way to Tampa Bay. There is a wide range of housing in the neighborhood also. The average home price is about $389,000 in this area. 

New Suburb Beautiful 

One of the older neighborhoods in Tampa founded in the 1920’s, it initially consisted of three individual neighborhoods combined into one. The neighborhood started out with 211 lots and in 1924 175 more lots were added. New Suburb Beautiful was on flood prone ground, in order to fix the problem Tampa Bay Company raked through and filled many areas of the land. It is one of the more desirable places to live for families because it is very family friendly area and peaceful, quiet streets. The homes have well manicured lawns and the streets are aesthetically pleasing. New Suburb Beautiful is located just south of Parkland Estates to Prospect Road, and between MacDill Avenue and Howard Avenue. The Home Value Range in this area can range from $200,000 to $1 million.
